DHS S&T & FEMA IPAWS To Demonstrate Next Generation Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) Sensor Alerting Technology
June 21, 2023The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T), in collaboration with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Integrated Public Alert Warning System (IPAWS), will test new technical capabilities to integrate emergency alert systems with new sensor technologies, such as unattended flood and wildfire sensors.
