Noel’s electronics background started with the US Army where was trained on the Nike Hercules Missile Systems and then instructed the tracking radars and Ground Guidance computer system for three years in uniform and seven more as a civilian.

February 1, 2017Since 1989, Angela Allen has worked for the State of Vermont Department of Public Safety in the radio shop as a Communications Technician. The DPS radio shop maintains radios used by all State of Vermont agencies and departments. This includes mobiles, portables, base stations, dispatch consoles, and a statewide microwave radio system, just to name a few. Angela has been an APCO local advisor for the state of Vermont since December 2001.

January 26, 2017Bob Marz began his career in public safety as a Dispatcher for the Utah Highway Patrol in 1959 and within a year he was advanced to the position of Radio Engineer. He served in this position with the Patrol servicing northern Utah until 1990 when the Public Safety Communications Division was integrated with the State’s IT department. Bob retired from State service in 1998. Bob joined APCO in 1966 as a member of the then Intermountain Chapter and later that year was made the Frequency Coordinator for the State of Utah. Bob was the only member from Utah until the Utah Chapter of APCO was formed in 1972.
