Eventide Introduces New NexLog DX-Series Recording Solutions for Mission Critical Communications

Company Representative July 23, 2020 Product & Service Announcements

Little Ferry, NJ, July 20, 2020 – Eventide has released the new NexLog DX-Series recording suite to better position customers for the future through digitally transformative (DX) technologies. Eventide’s DX-Series products have been designed to address many emerging needs, including distributed and centralized recording, virtualization, datacenter and cloud capabilities, enhanced security postures and readiness for new communication systems.

The NexLog DX-Series solutions are the third generation of Eventide products that utilize software specifically designed for mission-critical recording, combined with a stable and highly reliable Linux operating system. The new product suite includes the NexLog 740 DX-Series™ recorder, the NexLog 840 DX-Series™ recorder, the NexLog DX-Series™ Virtual Recording Solution, and the DX-Series™ Smart Edge Capture Device.

“The NexLog DX-Series of products builds upon Eventide’s decades long history of delivering outstanding recording solutions to mission-critical customers worldwide. I’m proud to work with a dedicated, talented team of US-based developers who continuously meet the needs of customers while addressing the ever-evolving communications market,” commented Richard VanTieghem, president of Eventide’s Communications Software Division.

The Eventide DX-Series suite also includes the MediaWorks DX™ incident replay and reconstruction console. This new HTML5 browser-based application retains the intuitiveness of the classic MediaWorks PLUS software but adds many new features and advanced capabilities. Extensive integrations to radio systems, dispatch consoles, NG9-1-1 systems, phone systems, and CAD systems allow users to quickly and easily search, find, package and export a set of recordings that tell the entire story of an incident.

Eventide products and software are designed, developed, and manufactured in Little Ferry, NJ, USA and distributed worldwide by qualified local partners who provide installation and on-site support. Customers can take advantage of Eventide’s continuous technical innovation and cyber security focus by purchasing annual DX-series Software Upgrade Subscriptions.
