The company made the announcement at APCO 2019, APCO International’s Annual Conference & Expo for public safety communications officials.

The new duplexer boosts Telewave’s iDAS effectiveness, providing more coverage and added capacity in critical areas such as tall office buildings, tunnels, large buildings made of reinforced steel or concrete, parking garages, stadiums, airports, shopping malls, and secluded, rural or hilly areas.

Telewave’s VHF wide band iDAS duplexer for public safety can be packaged with Telewave indoor iDAS Appeal™ and outdoor HP Series antennas, cabling, couplers and splitters. This duplexer provides effective filtering for the donor subsystem and server side of the VHF (148 and 174 MHz) BDA. The duplexer easily mounts in a standard 19 inch rack on front or center cabinet rails.
