Scott Wiggins to Lead Land Mobile Radio Consulting Practice
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, March 25, 2019 — Federal Engineering, Inc. (FE) announced today, the promotion Scott Wiggins to Senior Vice President.
In announcing the promotion, Mr. Ronald F. Bosco, FE President and CEO said: “Scott’s promotion is a direct result of our continuing growth in both the public safety mobile radio (PSMR) and public safety answering point (PSAP) consulting practices. As the firm continues to grow, we want to ensure that our clients continue to receive the attention to detail and quality consulting they have come to expect from Federal Engineering. Scott will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities related to radio consulting include branding, advertising, trade shows, website content, white papers, presentations, and social media. He will expand our strategic relationships with other firms both for teaming and delivery.”
Mr. Bosco continued: “Scott has been with Federal Engineering for almost a decade serving as an Executive Team Member providing coaching, mentoring and management to the FE operations team. He has managed some of our largest projects and consistently delivered successful performance. Scott is considered a subject matter expert in developing governance to support statewide interoperability and provides strategic and technical support to the Department of Homeland Security Emergency Communications Division. Because of his vast experience, he has a deep understanding of our market.
Prior to joining Federal Engineering, Scott had over 15 years of experience in government administration and public safety communications management and operations planning. He was the Director of the Division of Emergency Communication Networks at the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, where he oversaw the governance and deployment of the 320 site ARMER radio system, the Statewide Interoperability and 9-1-1 Program. Scott has held policy making roles in the Wisconsin State Assembly, Minnesota House of Representatives, Minnesota Department of Public Safety and twice worked as a Senior Policy Advisor for the Governor of Minnesota. He has extensive experience in multi-faceted wireless communications, enhancing governance, standard operating procedures, voice and data technologies, training and usage.”
