The agreement paves the way for completion of 800 MHz rebanding across the country

Alexandria, Va. – The Association for Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International is pleased that the United States and Mexico have finalized an agreement for sharing spectrum that will allow 800 MHz rebanding to proceed along the U.S.-Mexican border.

“We applaud the work of FCC staff and other officials who have been pursuing such an agreement for several years,” said APCO President Gregg Riddle.
