STATE COLLEGE, PA, November 28, 2011 — Mission Critical Partners, Inc. (MCP), an innovative consultative leader in mission critical systems and life safety communications, is pleased to announce the addition of Paul Mallett to its expanding, dedicated staff. Mallett will serve as Lead Policy Analyst and work from MCP’s Southlake, TX office. Paul will oversee state, county, and local policy and statute reviews, as well as develop regulatory language to advance future public safety endeavors. Mallet brings his expertise, recognized within emergency communications circles, to the MCP team. Mallett’s extensive experience encompasses an impressive background in telecommunications and military service. “We are delighted to welcome Paul as a talented new member of the MCP team. His experience and knowledge will support our mission to provide superior emergency management and Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) policy and regulatory development,” said Kevin Murray, President.

For the past decade, Mallett led the Texas Commission on State Emergency Communication as Executive Director, developing the agency’s broad strategic plans and funding programs. He was instrumental in NG9-1-1 state protocol and was awarded the Texas Association of Regional Councils (TARC) State Agency Supporter Award in 2008. From 1999 to 2001 Paul served as Director of Online Services for QuestLink Technology, Inc.

Mallett has a wealth of knowledge in NG9-1-1 and 9-1-1 activities. He has worked closely with the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) Next Generation Partners Program as Co-chair of the Regulatory/Legislative Committee to develop statutory guidelines. He plays a key role helping NENA expand its legislative tools to further NG9-1-1 implementation.

Mallett served as a Naval Captain and was formally recognized for his achievements in telecommunications and systems management. As a Telecommunications Division Chief, he designed information systems and implemented processes to improve performance. He commanded and oversaw elaborate state-of-the-art electronic system operations.

Mallett earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Science in Communications Management from the Naval Postgraduate School. He also attended Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
