City of Durham, NC to deploy Locution Systems’ CADVoice® automated dispatching & fire station alerting system in 32 fire stations

GOLDEN, Colo., Nov. 21, 2011 – Locution Systems, Inc., a provider of advanced, automated 911 dispatching, zoned dispatching, and fire station alerting, and fire station control technology, today announced that it has been commissioned to provide its CADVoice® automated dispatching and fire station alerting system to the City of Durham, North Carolina.

The City of Durham will implement the radio version of CADVoice® automated dispatching & fire station alerting for its 32 fire and EMS stations.

Locution Systems’ automated dispatching & fire station alerting system offers three key benefits for public safety departments:

1)  Faster Response Times  (CADVoice® helps speed up response times to fires and  medical emergencies.)

2)  Reduced Stress for 911 Dispatchers  (CADVoice® reduces stress for the 911 dispatching staff by allowing the current staff to handle more call volume.)

3)  Reduced Stress For First Responders  (Locution Systems’ array of modular fire station alerting technologies can reduce stress and sleep deprivation for first responders.)

“Locution Systems’ automated dispatching & fire station alerting system has been installed in nearby Raleigh, North Carolina, as well as all of Wake County for years – and has provided significant operational benefits to these areas,” said Glenn Neal, Locution Systems’ president, founder, and chief technology officer.  “By adding our CADVoice® automated dispatching and fire station alerting system in Durham, the entire Raleigh/Durham/Wake County area will be serviced by a system that can improve response times to fires and medical emergencies.”
