Company Representative July 12, 2011 Product & Service Announcements

Redmond, Wash., July 8, 2011 — Zetron, a leading provider of mission-critical communications solutions, announced that its DCS-5020* digital console system now includes an interface to Motorola’s MOTOTRBO digital mobile radio solution. MOTOTRBO is one of the fastest growing new generation of digital mobile radio technologies in the industry.

Zetron’s DCS-5020 digital console system now includes an interface to Motorola’s MOTOTRBO digital mobile radio solution. This allows a rich set of radio features to be controlled from the DCS-5020 console. It also provides a quick, cost-effective way to deploy a radio dispatch console system on an existing network; allows the system to be used at a fixed location or as a mobile-command facility; and does not require costly infrastructure connectivity.

Features
The features enabled by the new interface include:

  • Call ID decode and alias display
  • Private and group calls
  • Emergency calls
  • Call alert
  • Channel scanning
  • Text messaging
  • Channel select
  • Radio check
  • Radio stun and revive

Benefits
The new interface allows the DCS-5020 to be wirelessly connected to the MOTOTRBO radio network through a MOTOTRBO mobile radio. The benefits this adds to the DCS-5020 include the following:

  • Provides a quick and cost-effective way to deploy a console system on an existing radio network.
  • Allows the console system to be used in a fixed location or as a mobile command facility.
  • Does not require costly infrastructure connectivity.
