L-3 MPRI Awarded Contract by the Department of Justice in Support of the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 16, 2011 – L-3 MPRI, a global provider of integrated training solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to provide criminal justice subject matter expertise and program support to the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP). This seven-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract consists of a base year plus six option years, with a total contract funding ceiling of $1 billion, and was awarded using full and open competitive procedures.

L-3 MPRI has supported ICITAP since 2005. Under the new agreement, L-3 MPRI will provide administrative, logistical, professional and technical personnel as well as supplies, equipment, facilities and materials required for international criminal justice development and reform. ICITAP is part of the DOJ’s Criminal Division and carries out the training assistance program in approximately 40 countries worldwide.
