Pepro LLC Announces Its New Brave Mobile Radio Site

Company Representative May 11, 2011 Product & Service Announcements
Pepro’s patented Faraday cage technology keeps radio equipment safe from lightning, electromagnetic interference, radio frequency interference and other threats

Oil City, Penn. – April 18, 2011 – Pepro LLC (www.peprollc.com), the leading manufacturer of shielded enclosure systems for stationary and mobile applications, announced its latest mobile radio site. The Brave provides 54 units of rack space and includes a 40, unguyed, articulated tower that can be raised in minutes.

The Brave Mobile Radio Site provides an affordable, fully-integrated option for fast and easy deployment of communications capability in emergency or planned event situations. The mobile site includes a trailer, pre-wired shelter, tower, generator, HVAC system, 54 units of rack space and shore power connection. A site can typically be put into full operation in 20 minutes by one person.

“Over the decades of helping customers meet the needs of their demanding situations, we have taken every opportunity to make our enclosures easier to deploy and use,” said Vic Garmong, Pepro LLC President. “This new mobile site is a great example of how hard we have worked to make these integrated sites affordable, reliable and easy to deploy. Without any special training at all, a driver can pull up to the location, raise the tower and start service to a wide area immediately.”

Pepro has provided shielded enclosures based on its patented Faraday cage technology for 18 years without a single loss of protected equipment. The new Brave Mobile Site has met the same rigorous testing standards as Pepro’s existing enclosures, most recently demonstrated in a test conducted at Lightning Technologies, Inc. (LTI).  The integrated site was exposed to 1,300,000 volts and 89,000 Amps – the full weight of LTI’s testing capability – while in full operation mode.  At no time did more than 10μJ enter any of the structures, and all sites maintained radio operation throughout testing.
