Troy, Mich. (April 28, 2011) — The Colorado Springs, Colo. Police Department has signed a contract to license New World Systems’ Aegis Suite of Public Safety Software on the Microsoft® platform to replace a legacy system that no longer meets the Department’s needs. The new solution will help the Police Department increase efficiency by eliminating redundant data entry and improving information sharing capabilities.

To select the new solution, a committee representing all areas of the Colorado Springs Police Department conducted an in-depth evaluation of available software vendors across the country. They were looking for a solution that offered time-saving workflow, easy-to-use field reporting and software that could be configured to fit many of their Department’s processes. The committee was impressed by New World’s professionalism and project commitment, and unanimously selected the Company’s solutions as the best fit for the Police Department.

“Our demands for an advanced system are high and our expectations even higher,” said Police Chief Richard Myers. “Our members deserve effective technology that works and helps them accomplish our mission.
