Eventide Communications Logging Recorder Certified for Interoperability with Avtec Scout VoIP Console System

Company Representative April 29, 2011 Product & Service Announcements
Eventide recorder offers lab-proven call recording for Avtec Scout customers

Little Ferry, N.J., April 28, 2011 — Today, Eventide announced that Avtec, Inc., has certified Eventide’s communications logging recorders for integration with the Avtec Scout VoIP console system.  Certification was achieved upon successful completion of interoperability testing at Avtec’s product integration testing facility.

Eventide’s IP-based communications logging systems directly capture, record, and archive the audio streams from Avtec’s Scout VoIP console system (select and/or unselect), as well as talk groups, conventional channels and telephone lines from the wide variety of voice communication systems supported by the Avtec Scout VoIP console system (such as IDAS, MOTOTRBO, NexEdge, P25, SIP, Sprint Nextel, and TaitNET MPT).  Each voice transmission is captured in its entirety.  The resulting audio recordings are available immediately for instant recall, forensic replay, incident reconstruction, burn to CD, and export.
