Highly Successful Women’s Public Safety Conference Reconvenes in Florida

Women in Public Safety Communications Leadership Conference will unite female public safety executives

Daytona Beach, Fla., March 17, 2011 — The highly successful APCO International Women in Public Safety Communications Leadership Conference will reconvene in Orlando, Fl. for the third annual women’s meeting on April 13-14, 2011.

Previous participants have given the event great reviews including 2010 attendee Carrie Lorea, who said, “The 2010 APCO Women’s Leadership Conference was perhaps the best conference I have attended in my Public Safety career. It presented a unique forum through which to network and meet an outstanding group of women in this amazing field.”

The 2011 Conference schedule, which includes sessions in leadership, life in public safety, career development, and work/life balance, delves into long-term career issues confronting women in public safety leadership positions.

The two-day event includes presentations by:
