VisionAIR Inc. Partners With M2SYS Technology for an Integrated Biometric Technology Solution

Company Representative February 23, 2011 Product & Service Announcements

Atlanta, Ga., & Castle Hayne, N.C. — M2SYS Technology, a biometric technology and research company, and VisionAIR, provider of the integrated Public Safety Suite of software, announced their partnership today.  VisionAIR has selected M2SYS’ Hybrid Biometric Platform software and hardware for availability to its jail management clients.

Hybrid Biometric Platform is a client/server biometric recognition system that supports fingerprint, finger vein, palm vein and iris biometrics.  Once Hybrid Biometric Platform is in use at an agency, the agency can choose to utilize one or more of the supported biometric modalities. This flexibility ensures that law enforcement agencies can choose from several biometric technologies and devices to best meet the needs of their specific identification requirements.

Hybrid Biometric Platform has been integrated into VisionAIR’s VisionJAIL enterprise jail management system (JMS) software solution.  Jail facilities will now have the option of incorporating biometric technology for inmate identification, booking, tracking and release to help boost accuracy and efficiency within the jail operations.  The addition of Hybrid Biometric Platform to VisionAIR’s Public Safety Suite provides an added level of identification to effectively manage jail facilities.

“We are excited to provide biometric recognition capabilities with our VisionJAIL inmate management system,” said Mike Lyons, President & CEO of VisionAIR.  “Our partnership with M2SYS offers us an extraordinary opportunity to help law enforcement facilities increase productivity and safety while eliminating identity fraud, which is an increasing concern.”

“Considering the need for law enforcement facilities to establish quick and efficient inmate enrollment, abolish accidental duplicate records, accurately track medication dispensing and ensure proper identity for release, biometric technology is an exceptional, cost effective technology for the public safety market,” commented Mizan Rahman, CEO/CTO of M2SYS Technology.
